Merry Christmas 2018!

Merry Christmas! There's always so much prep and then the big day is here... whether we're ready for it or not. With several busy days ahead with family and friends, I wanted to pop in now and wish you all a wonderful Christmas. It's late on Christmas Eve and I'm taking advantage of a few quiet moments :)

We celebrated with my family yesterday and will be celebrating with my husband's family on Christmas Day. Then I'm hosting an extended family celebration on Boxing Day.

Today there was some last minute prep during the day, followed by a Christmas Eve service at our church. Then take-out food for a late dinner and opening our gifts to each other.

Like how we decorated our tree this year?

Here's why!

She's cute and has actually done fairly well with the tree. But we didn't want to give her any temptations so the bottom of the tree is ornament-free :)

Here are a few pics of opening our gifts to each other.

One of his requested video games.

A picture of Porgs (that's my Star Wars loving girl!)

Weird Al CD and tickets to see him in concert.

Didn't even ask for this but my hubby knew I'd like it :)

{Sorry for the poor quality pics... didn't have time to edit them before posting but wanted to share a Christmas post with you more than I wanted great quality pics.}

And then we had some fun again with my tri-pod and remote! {affiliate links}
And our kitten :)

Fun times.

Only big fail tonight... we forgot to put out goodies for Santa before the kids went to bed :(  Think he'll mind?  Probably not, but my daughter might.

We were actually pretty well prepared in advance this year, so our Christmas Eve was fairly relaxing.

Looking forward to more celebrations over the next few days! And I'll be back with another post in the #NetZeroClutter series later this week.

I'm so grateful for each and every one of you and the fact that you take time out of your life to read my blog and interact with me on social media!

Merry Christmas from my family to yours!
