Organizing Ideas For The Weekend: Hot Beverage Zones

Happy Friday!  Time for another organizing idea for your weekend!

Earlier this week I showed you my new hot beverages zone and I shared tips to help you create one too.  I love my hot beverages zone because it is organized and practical, but I didn't do much to make it pretty.

Since I know many of you have more of a decorating or crafty bone than I do, I thought I'd share some really cute hot beverage stations to inspire you.  This way you can combine my organizing tips and these creative ideas to make your own awesome hot beverage zone this weekend!

Creating a Breakfast Zone for Easier Mornings

Earlier this week I showed you my new hot beverages zone and shared tips to help you create a similar place in your kitchen, especially if you have a small kitchen.  It's all part of my kitchen organizing tips series.

Today, I want to share my new breakfast zone!

Tips for Organizing a Hot Beverages Zone in a Small Kitchen

Ready to do some kitchen organizing?  Today I'm back to the series I started in November on tips for organizing your kitchen (before I decorated too soon for Christmas and had to put the series on hold).

This week I'll be showing you a few more zones in my kitchen.  And  I'll continue the series in February because I've got lots more tips to help you organize your kitchen.

Today, I want to share my new hot beverages zone!

365 In 365 Declutter Challenge: January Update

How has your decluttering gone so far?  It's the 24th today so the target for 365 Items in 365 Days is to have decluttered 24 items by now.  We started a week into the month though, so if you're a bit behind you still have lots of time to catch up :)

I know many people in the 365 Items in 365 Days Facebook group have been pumped to declutter in January and have done a lot more than 24 items!  I've been amazed to see all the decluttering that's been going on in that group!  Kitchen cupboards, bedroom closets, linen closets, craft supplies, magazines, toiletries, kids' school work, holiday decorations, socks and undies... and I could go on and on.  And that's just in the last few days!

What's been exciting is how many people have said they just start out planning to declutter a small thing and ended up being motivated to keep going.  I love that!  It makes decluttering a totally non-overwhelming process :)

Want to see what I've been decluttering the last few weeks?

"Rule" Update for the 365 Items in 365 Days Declutter Challenge

I've been SO excited to see all the decluttering happening in our 365 Items in 365 Days Facebook group.  People are sharing before and after pictures, asking questions, giving advice, encouraging each other, and just motivating the heck out of each other!  It's a joy to be part of :)

If you aren't sure what I'm talking about, here's a description of the 365 Items in 365 Days Declutter Challenge!  And if you want to join in, you can find all the posts about the challenge in the 365 in 365 tab at the top of the page, or in the list at the end of the post.  You can join any time!

Several questions have come up about the "Garbage doesn't count" rule.  Actually it wasn't one of the actual rules, but it was in the Q & A section and I didn't leave it very open to interpretation so I guess it kind of was.  Anyway, today I want to address your questions and update that rule.
