Bedroom Organizing Tips From Professional Organizers

Once again, I'm so excited to be included in this month's Professional Organizers Blog Carnival!

What is the Professional Organizers Blog Carnival?  It's a monthly blog post that professional organizers contribute to.  Each month is a different theme and includes posts related to that topic from several professional organizers.  It's a great place to find advice, ideas, and tips for the theme of the month.

This month is all about organizing bedrooms.  They can become quite cluttered and disorganized because we often dump things in them and close the door.  I'm not the only one who does that right?! And kids' bedrooms definitely can become overwhelming with all their toys, sentimental items, and clothes of various sizes.  But organizing bedrooms can make such a huge difference. If everything has a place it's easier to keep them clutter-free. So you can relax in your room!

Check out all the tips in this post and find the ones that will help you organize your bedrooms!

Getting Started With the Conquer Your Clutter Super Bundle

Do you get overwhelmed thinking about going through all the resources in a big bundle like the Conquer Your Clutter Super Bundle? I often do too and sometimes end up not going through any of them!

But that's silly. It's better to apply some ideas from a few resources than not apply anything because you're too busy to set aside time to go through ALL of them. It's like of like that saying... "Done is better than perfect."

To help you narrow down all the great resources to choose what's best for you, today I'm going to share some of my favourite resources from each category. That will give you a starting point and then you can choose other ebooks or ecourses or printables when you're ready to try some more ideas.

The Conquer Your Clutter Super Bundle sale ends in just 2 days, and I’ve received some questions from some of you who want a bit more information before they decide whether or not to pick up their copy.

In case you have the same concerns, I want to share my answers to the most frequently asked questions today.

Before I do that though, I want to help you decide if this bundle is right for you. Although thousands of people have already bought their bundle in the last few days and started getting organized, others are hesitating, wondering if this Super Bundle is really for them.

My 365 Items in 365 Days Update {2016}

It's a new year in the 365 Items in 365 Days Declutter Challenge!  If you struggled to declutter in 2016, this is a fresh start for you!  And if you joined the challenge part way through last year, you can just keep right on decluttering!

It's the 27th day of the year today so if you just started in January (or started afresh), your target is to have purged at least 27 items by now!  If you haven't started yet, just jump in!  It's always a good time to declutter :)

Originally I'd planned to share an update every month on what I declutter. But depending on what else I was blogging about or how consistently I blogged, my updates often ended up being several months of decluttering combined into one post. Well, I didn't end up blogging very consistently in 2016 at all, so I only had a January update post and then I shared my progress throughout December in the #NetZeroClutter challenge.

So, today I'll be sharing what I've decluttered from February to November last year and give you my year-end totals. I'll try to be more consistent in 2017 :)

By doing these updates I hope to give you ideas of things you can purge from your home!
