Where did summer go? {AKA what I've been up to instead of blogging}

Is it really the beginning of September?  Are my kids really starting school tomorrow?  It feels like just a few weeks ago that they were finishing up school and now we're getting ready for the new year to begin.

We've had a great summer!  I'm so thankful to have been able to spend this time with my kids.  We had a lot of fun doing things from the kids' summer brainstorming lists.  We didn't get to everything... but that just means we'll have a few things to do this fall or to start off next summer's lists.

September Family Goals Printable and September Blog Goals

I can't believe summer holidays are over already and the kids are going back to school this week!  I know some of your school schedules are different than ours and your kids have already been in school for a few weeks. But my kids start on Tuesday.  So we're enjoying every last minute of summer holidays that we can :)

Summer flew by!  I've got a summer wrap-up post coming so I won't go into details here.  But as I mentioned earlier this month, our summer was busier than I expected it to be, with my son's baseball games and my hubby's work schedule.

So things were pretty quiet on the blog front in August.  I delayed the Great Photo Purge Challenge until September.  And I let myself off the hook for finishing all the organizing and cleaning projects I'd planned to do and blog about this summer.  I did co-host for the Wonderful Wednesday Blog Hop each week and I loved meeting new people and checking out some great ideas.
