How to Avoid Failure in 2015

Rewind back to January of 2014... you probably made plans way back then for yourself. Maybe you even made some new year’s resolutions.

If you're like a lot of people, you promised to improve and transform yourself…to be in better health, to be in better shape, to live a longer life. Am I right?!

Now fast-forward back to the present and think about where you are right now. Are you where you wanted to be?

If you are, then give yourself a big ole' pat on the back and celebrate!  That's awesome!

If you aren't, don't be discouraged.  I've been there many times myself!  In fact I'm there right now.  Which is the reason I'm writing this :)

As you may know, if you've read my monthly goal updates this past year, I set some goals to help me live a healthier life.  But, you may also remember that I haven't been great at keeping those goals consistently, especially when life gets busy.  And it shows in my energy level, weight, and overall health.

So, I'm planning to make healthy living a priority for 2015.

I don't write about health-related topics very often, but I do talk about goal setting at least once a month.  And you know me, if I'm going to take on any kind of "project" I'm going to do it in an organized way :)

So, since I'm going to be setting some goals in 2015 towards healthier living, from time-to-time I'll be sharing some of the ways I organize myself to achieve those goals.  Some of the tips will apply to any goals you set.  And some will be particularly related to improving your health.

So How Can We Avoid Failure in 2015?

First of all, we shouldn't feel like we've failed or fallen short.

Don't feel like the mountain is too hard to climb. Most of all, don't pack it in. Not yet!  I'm a big believer in the saying: "A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step."

That's how I declutter my home.  And that's how I help my overwhelmed clients declutter and organize their homes.  One step at a time.  Every little bit helps.  Just do it (to quote an old slogan!).

So, if you want to improve your health in 2015, let's make a deal, right here and right now. Let’s take our first step to reclaiming our health. Let's reclaim what belongs to us and nudge it in the right direction with one simple change.

Join me in a FREE 4-Day Healthy Living Challenge: 4 simple steps to a healthier, better you. Each step will take you no more than 5 minutes a day. The challenge is so easy, so simple, yet so effective. Most of all: it will change your life!

Learn more and sign up for the challenge here.

I signed up today and I'm ready to jump in!  I'd love to have you do it with me.  {I'm much better at sticking to goals when I have people around me who are working on the same things.  Like the 365 Items in 365 Days Declutter Challenge this year!}

I know it's the holiday season, so non-healthy choices surround us.  But we don't have to fix everything about our health right away this week.  We just need to take a few small steps.

It's funny how the smallest things can make the biggest differences in life.  This challenge will have that kind of impact on us. Join the challenge with me and reclaim your life!

And, if you're worried about failing, don't be. Here's something interesting about success: it's usually preceded by failure.

Start the challenge now.  Remember, it's free!

I'll be doing this challenge over the next few days and I'll post more about it next week.  If you're joining, me, let me know in the comments so we can all know we're in this together!
