Merry Christmas 2017!

Merry Christmas! Lots of preparations and build-up and it's finally here :) This is our first Christmas in our new home and it's been fun to create new traditions and memories here. Also neat to figure out how to decorate in new spaces, bake in a differently laid-out kitchen, and give cards and gifts to new neighbours. Lots of changes. But good ones.

We're spending Christmas morning with the 4 of us and then my in-laws and sister-in-law are joining us for brunch before we head over to my parents' home for the afternoon and dinner with my family. Tomorrow we will have dinner with my hubby's family. Lots of celebrations :)

Since it will be a busy few days I wanted to pop in and wish you a Merry Christmas now :)  Stay tuned for the next post in the #NetZeroClutter series tomorrow too!

Here are a few pictures of our Christmas Eve festivities.

Lots of baking...mmm :)

Having fun by our tree with my new tri-pod and remote! {affiliate links}

And some smiles :)

Including our cat!

Our church had earlier services today since Christmas Eve fell on a Sunday. We enjoyed hot chocolate there and then headed home for an early dinner (take-out... a tradition we started a few years ago because we're both too tired from all the other prep to make dinner on Christmas Eve).

Unwrapping a few gifts.

They were a wee bit excited opening up cell phones... especially my daughter!

Before bed... putting out goodies for Santa and his reindeer.

As the kids get older, they seem to stay up later, so I have less time at the end of the day than when they were younger. But once they were in bed we finished the evening off with some brunch prep, helping Santa out, and then relaxing for a little while :)

I'm looking forward to continuing to celebrate Christmas with our families over the next few days!

I'm so grateful for each and every one of you and the fact that you take time out of your life to read my blog and interact with me on social media!

Merry Christmas from my family to yours!
