Organizing my Organizing Supplies
Do you keep organizing supplies and products so you can use them when you're organizing? Empty baskets, bins, jars, or other containers that you no longer need in one place in your home that can be used when you organize another? Or maybe you bought some fantastic organizing containers on sale but haven't actually done anything with them yet?
Yeah... me too. I don't buy a lot of things without having a specific plan in mind, but I do pick up some items that I know I use regularly if I see a great deal on them.
The trouble is, with all the decluttering I've been doing, I'm ending up with a lot of empty containers from other parts of my home too! Plus, to be more cost effective, I'd been keeping a bunch of empty food containers to use for organizing.
My organizing supplies needed organizing.

A Little Piece of Organizing Heaven!
For all my American readers who frequently shop at the Container Store, you can probably relate to my excitement in this post. For all the rest of you, today I want to share with you what I like to call "a little piece of organizing heaven"!
{This is not a sponsored post... I just had a really fun time here and want to share it with you :) }

I Love Freecycle - Free Gifts!
It's been quite awhile since I've written a post in the "I Love Freecycle!" series and I want to share with you some of my latest finds. You can see my previous posts in this series here for more on how Freecycle works and why I love it so much.
I saw a posting on Freecycle a little before Christmas for two new Christmas books. New! And free! Did I mention that I love Freecycle?

Organizing My Linen Closet
Our linen closet is chaotic! Can you relate?
Linen closets often contain a lot of stuff behind their doors and ours was no exception. I tried to imagine it wasn't as bad as it was, but in reality, I was overwhelmed with the chaos. Time to get this closet organized!

Baskets, baskets, and more baskets!
I haven't done a post in the "I Love Freecycle!" series in quite awhile so it's time to update you on some of my latest finds. You can see my first post in this series here for more on how Freecycle works and why I love it so much.
Last time I showed you all the mason jars that I received through Freecycle. Shortly after that post I saw that I received several large mason jars too. I didn't take a picture of them but you'll see them in action at some point I'm sure.

Organizing Our Hall Closet
These are "after" pictures of our hall closet, taken this week. I wish I had taken some "before" pictures but I actually organized it before I started blogging. I'm happy to say that it is still pretty organized 2 months later! All I did before taking these pictures was tidy up the shoes a bit.

My Daughter's Closet is finally HER closet
My daughter's closet is mostly used for storage because most of her clothes are kept in her dressers (yes, that's plural...if you haven't read my last post you can go do that now to find out why!). The only clothing items in her closet are her dresses and skirts on the lower rod (including some for her to grow into).
Her closet is not very big. When we first moved in, it was a basic layout with a rod and a shelf above it. When my son was born (this used to be his room) my dad put in a closet organizer for us that is much more practical.
