Week 1 - Introduction and Holiday/Kids' Items {Net Zero Clutter Challenge 2017}
December can feel so overwhelming... there are so many extra tasks to do, places to go, and people to see. But more than demands on our time, are the demands on our space. If we're entertaining during the holidays, we suddenly become much more aware of the clutter in our homes. And just the thought of how many new items will be entering our homes this month is overwhelming! All of these factors make it hard to enjoy this otherwise wonderful time of year.
There are lots of tips out there for managing your time better during the holidays, but I've found that the single most important thing I can do to help me feel less overwhelmed in December is to declutter throughout the month. And reducing that overwhelm means I can enjoy Christmas much more.
For the last two years, I've hosted the #NetZeroClutter challenge and many of you joined in and decluttered in December. Will you join the Net Zero Decluttering Challenge this year?

Spring Cleaning Decluttering Tips {Video}
It's time for spring cleaning! But the very thought of cleaning can be overwhelming to many of us.
Maybe it's because we can't vacuum our floors until we pick up all the clothing on them first. Or perhaps you can't motivate yourself to dust because you know every surface in your home is covered with piles of stuff that you'd have to deal with. It might be that you are afraid to open that closet or cabinet door because you've been stuffing things in there all winter and you're worried it will all fall out.
Tired of all the clutter that's built up over the winter? Want to clear it out so you can free up your time and energy to enjoy the nicer weather and all the fun activities it brings with it?
If any of this sounds familiar, then it's time to declutter! Overwhelmed? I'm sharing tips today to help you get started :)

Bedroom Organizing Tips From Professional Organizers
Once again, I'm so excited to be included in this month's Professional Organizers Blog Carnival!
What is the Professional Organizers Blog Carnival? It's a monthly blog post that professional organizers contribute to. Each month is a different theme and includes posts related to that topic from several professional organizers. It's a great place to find advice, ideas, and tips for the theme of the month.
This month is all about organizing bedrooms. They can become quite cluttered and disorganized because we often dump things in them and close the door. I'm not the only one who does that right?! And kids' bedrooms definitely can become overwhelming with all their toys, sentimental items, and clothes of various sizes. But organizing bedrooms can make such a huge difference. If everything has a place it's easier to keep them clutter-free. So you can relax in your room!
Check out all the tips in this post and find the ones that will help you organize your bedrooms!
