Blogiversary Week: Popular Post #4 {and a Giveaway!}

This week to celebrate my first year blogiversary, I've been sharing some of my favourite and most popular posts from the past year.

And today I'm adding a giveaway as well!  {More on that in a minute}

It's been fun looking back at the past year and I hope you've enjoyed this trip down memory lane too!  Or if you're a relatively new follower, hopefully you've enjoyed some posts that were new to you!

I'll wrap up this blogiversary celebration today with one last flashback post:

This post was called "Garage Clean Out Part 2".  You can check out Garage Clean Out Part 1 for all the before pictures.  I know... I was really creative with the titles back then eh?!

This was my first big organizing project after I started blogging.  The only one I'd posted before that was my backyard deck box, which I guess was kind of a mini version of the garage to help me get ready to tackle such a big space!

I love how great all the before and after shots turned out in the garage post.  And I love how much stuff we purged when we tackled the garage.

And, as always, I'm so happy with how much easier our lives have been since organizing the garage!  We had a place for everything and were able to keep everything in its place.  No more worrying about things falling down off the shelves or having to dig around to find something.

A year later, the garage needs a bit of a tweak again {a few items have accumulated there through the winter that really belong somewhere else}, but the basic systems I put in place last spring are still functioning well.

This summer I'm hoping to give the garage a bit of a makeover too {all those pictures last year really showed me how badly those walls need a coat of paint!}.

Here's the link one more time:  Garage Clean Out Part 2.

OK, I promised a giveaway in this post right?!

I know... most people put a giveaway at the beginning of a blogiversary celebration instead of the end... I'm different that way :)

No, truthfully, I wasn't originally planning to do a giveaway.  I don't have sponsors to offer up cool products like some bloggers do.  And I haven't earned $100 to start getting paid from Google ads yet {although I'm getting closer!} so I don't typically want to spend money on the blog.

But as this week went on I changed my mind.

I've really appreciated all your encouraging comments and congratulatory remarks this week and I wanted to do something to thank you... my wonderful readers!

So, here's the deal.  I bought several fantastic organizing ebooks and I'm going to give them away!

Here's what you get if you win this giveaway:

1.  Tell Your Time by Amy Lynn Andrews

2.  Simple Living by Lorilee Lippincott

3.  Getting It Together by Kayse Pratt

4.  31 Days to Clean by Sarah Mae

5.  Do the Funky Kitchen by Laura Coppinger

These are all great books to help you organize different aspects of your life!  {Check out the subtitles... pretty awesome stuff}  I'm really excited to be able to give these away to one lucky reader.

How do you win?  All you have to do is enter through the Rafflecopter form below.

You get a free entry just for clicking!

And then you can get extra entries {they'll show up after you do the first one} by following the blog in different ways.  If you already follow in those ways then these are more free entries.  If you don't, then this is a great opportunity for you to check out my various social media sites.  You can always "unfollow" later if you're not happy.  I won't be offended :)

You can earn more entries by leaving a comment or sharing about the giveaway.

It's totally up to you how you enter.  One way, several ways, or all of them!

It's open to anyone when an email address!  I'll email you the pdf files if you win.

Here's the form.

  3. I just started following your blog,(your in my Google+ circle). Looking back at some of your posts, I really like the Seasons post. I struggle trying to get each holiday/season all in one area. I have some in the attic, basement and back closet. Getting them into one area is my goal, thanks for the advice!

  4. Oh boy do I need to win these! I generally excel at one thing in my life, home, work or cooking/food at any one time, but the others all seem to take a back seat. I would love to find a continuous balance with it all :)

  6. I just discovered your site, and boy could my house use some help. I'm horrible at housekeeping, and am looking at your 31 day challenge for organizing right now. I'm desperate for anything that can help me be a better housekeeper. My family deserves better than what I'm giving them now.
