December Family Goals Printable and December Blog Goals

It's December!  Time for another monthly family goals printable for you!

December is one of my favourite months of the year.  Not only because it's Christmas, but because my birthday is on the 21st!

December is typically a very busy month for most people, with extra celebrations and an ever-looming deadline for your "To-Do List".  In all the busy-ness of this month, it's extra important to set goals as a family so you can make sure you prioritize your time and energy and actually enjoy all the festivities!

Click this link to see how we use our monthly family goals sheet.  And stay tuned each month as I share a new printable so you can also set monthly goals in your family.

I couldn't decide which border to use for December's family goals printable, so this month, in the spirit of giving, I'm sharing two different printables so you can choose the one you like best!

Here's the first December printable:

I like the cute Christmas trees.  But I also like red for Christmas, so here's the 2nd alternative:

I really hope this page helps you achieve your goals this month in your family!

A Quick Look Back at November

In November I re-organized parts of my kitchen and shared tips with you as I did.  I'll finish the series in January (if you missed my "Oops" moment and the reason why I'm putting the series on hold, you can read about that here).

I also shared how I reduce toy clutter in my kids' rooms, a few Christmas posts, how I became a professional organizer, and videos for a great Black Friday deal.

And I was super excited to be one of the contributing pinners to a great organizing board called Everything Organized!  If you haven't looked at it lately, go check it out because tons of new organizing ideas have been pinned :)

If you've missed any posts last month, you can read all the November posts here.

Last month, I set 3 goals.  And I'm happy to say I achieved all 3 of them!  I shared one kitchen organizing post each week, I wrote two Organizing Ideas for the Weekend posts, and I completed the changes I wanted to make to the blog layout and design.

What's Coming Up In December On The Blog?

Here are my goals for December:
  1. Share tips to help you declutter in preparation for Christmas (at least once per week)
  2. Give Christmas organizing tips and ideas to help reduce that overwhelming feeling that often comes with the season (at least once per week)
  3. Write at least 2 Organizing Ideas for the Weekend posts
I'm also excited to be guest posting at least once in December.

I'm aiming to keep things simple around here in December so I can enjoy this month and all the special events and activities my family is looking forward to.

So, what are your family, personal, or blog goals for December?  How are you getting organized for Christmas?

Happy organizing!

  1. I organized a cabinet yesterday. It's below some bookshelves and it was full of kid paper for drawing, some random games that didn't make it to the game shelf for whatever reason, some old Moon Sand stuff (I hate that stuff so much). I removed it all, sorted the loose paper onto office shelfy things, stacked coloring books and paper pads and threw out a lot of Moon Sand. It was awesome. I feel like I'm slowly but surely purging and decluttering in ways that will eventually help with all the house organizing. this particular cabinet I don't really NEED for something else right now, but having open space is pretty awesome.

    1. You've been busy Melissa! I don't know who thought moon sand would be a good thing. Definitely not a mom :) Keep up the great work! Open space is a great thing!
