Day 13: Decluttering "I" Things {Decluttering From A To Z}

This month I'm hosting the Decluttering From A To Z challenge.  It's a fun way to help you declutter items in your home that you may not have thought of decluttering.

Today we're decluttering items that begin with the letter I!  You can declutter anything you want that begins with I.  I'll share some ideas and you can choose any of them that resonate with you, or declutter your own ideas that begin with I.  Join in the decluttering fun!

Decluttering Ideas That Begin With The Letter I

Here are a few items or areas you may have in your home that you could declutter:

  • Ice packs
  • Ice skates
  • Ideas (you know... all those "I want to do this someday" bits and pieces of things? or files with ideas you want to do - use Pinterest or Evernote instead!)
  • In progress projects (that you know you won't finish)
  • Inessential items
  • Ice cream scoops
  • Inside anything (a drawer, box, closet, etc.)
  • things you're no longer Interested in (hobbies you've stopped doing, magazines you've stopped reading, etc.)
  • Information you were keeping in physical format that you can find online now
  • old Income tax documents (check how long you need to keep them first)
  • anti-Itching ointments
  • Ink pens
  • Icebox
  • Icecream (freezer-burnt, back of the freezer stuff)
  • Instruction manuals
  • Investment papers (for old investments or just old statements you don't need)
  • Ice cube trays
  • Instruments
  • Infant clothing
  • Invitations
  • "Icky" stuff you've been holding onto that just needs to be thrown away

Find a few of these things that you no longer need, use, love, or have the space to store (that's the definition of clutter by the way!) and let them go.
