Day 8: Decluttering "D" Things {Decluttering From A To Z}

This month I'm hosting the Decluttering From A To Z challenge.  It's a fun way to help you declutter items in your home that you may not have thought of decluttering.

If you've missed any posts you can find them all here.

Today we're decluttering items that begin with the letter D!  You can declutter anything you want that begins with D.  I'll share some ideas and you can choose any of them that resonate with you, or declutter your own ideas that begin with D.  Join in the decluttering fun!

  1. I live in a house divided when it comes to clutter. I am a "pitch it" kinda girl. However my husband wants to save EVERYTHING!!! Got any advice for that! I can 't take his office anymore!

    1. That's a tough one Mandee... honestly, differences in clutter tolerance levels can be the cause of lots of marital problems. My advice is to see if you can have zones that are his, where he can be as cluttered and messy as he wants, and zones that are yours, that are as simple and clutter-free as you want. So unless you use his office, I'd say let that be "his" area. It's not worth fighting over. Keep the lines of communication open between both of you though... and maybe set goals together for the spaces you share. Hope that helps!
