This week marks my second anniversary of blogging here on From Overwhelmed To Organized!  It's been an exciting year!

All week I'm sharing last year's favourite and popular posts.  And to thank you for your support all year, I'm giving away 2 great organizing ebooks and a $25 gift card to Target (for US or Canada only).  Make sure you enter in the Rafflecopter form at the end of this post!

Blogiversary Week:  2nd Flashback Post
Blogiversary Week:  3rd Flashback Post

So confession time... I'd planned to finish all these posts before I left for vacation and schedule them to publish while I was away.  Didn't happen.  And this has been the busiest vacation I think I've ever been on.  Those of you who have been to Disney know what I mean.  Plus, I've intentionally been spending less time online this vacation.  So, I didn't get this post written last night or during the day today.  Finally sitting down now... just a little late!  Those of you who subscribe by email will probably get two posts at once.  But it's better late than never right?!  :)

OK, so here's today's flashback post.

Preserve Your Main Bedroom

I mentioned a few weeks ago that May and early June are going to be really busy for me with my hubby away, a "limited screen-time" family vacation, and preparing for the Trained Professional Organizer exam.

I asked a few of my fellow organizing bloggers to guest post so I won't be completely overwhelmed and you can still benefit from some great organizing tips!  I'm so happy to be able to introduce these friends of mine to you.  Please make them feel welcome here :)

Here's a guest post from my friend Morgan!

Hello fellow organizer enthusiasts! I'm going to be chatting with you about something that I am very passionate about, even though I don't have the best follow through in this area. There I said it.

I'm talking about making your main bedroom a restful nook, a place that is designed for just you and your partner, a room that says "adults come here to relax and recharge." I've read that the main bedroom should be considered the most important room in the home. That this room can set the tone for everything else that happens within your abode. And even though I know this, I still tend to ignore this fact and don't keep this room protected from the outside chaos.

Organizing Ideas For The Weekend: Road Trip Tips

Happy Friday!  Time for another organizing idea for your weekend!

Continuing on with my vacation, travel, and packing, packing, and more packing theme, today I want to share some tips for a great family road trip!  Road trips are great memory makers.  Memories that last a lifetime.  I still remember some road trips I took with my family when I was growing up.  And I've passed that love of road trips on to my kids.

We nearly always take road trips for our family vacations.  Our kids don't actually know any other way of traveling because they've been taking road trips them since they were weeks old (actually even before they were born - the only time I remember being carsick - but that's another story).  I know they'd love to fly somewhere, but it's much more economical for us to drive at this point in our lives.  And saving money by taking road trips means we can go on vacations more often :)

We're road tripping to Florida soon, and when we get back I'll be sharing some of my own road trip tips, but in the meantime, here are some great ones I've found online, in case you're planning a road trip soon!  Or if you've never taken one because you've got too many concerns, hopefully these tips will help you overcome those!

Well, no matter what I hear about this "paperless" age we are living in... I have a LOT of paper!

Two years ago, I set out once and for all to tackle EVERY. SINGLE. piece of paper in my house. When I was done, I wrote a book about it. :)

The Empty Space Dilemma

Here's the first guest post from my friend Kristin!

When purging and organizing, often times you get to the point where you have empty spaces.

Where does your mind go when you find or create empty space?
Do you right away try to find a way to fill it?
Do you just move items over to cover the bareness of the area?
Do you sit back and enjoy the empty space?

It's the beginning of a new month and that means a new Monthly Family Goals printable for you!
