Day 16 - Office Organizers {31 Cheap & Easy DIY Organizers}

Think you have to spend a lot of money on costly organizing tools to get your house in order?  Nope!  Getting organized doesn't have to be expensive!

Throughout this series I'm sharing ideas to help you organize your home by either

  • making simple organizers with things that don't cost very much OR
  • using items you already have in a different way.
If cost has been holding you back from getting organized, now you've got no more excuses!

Today I want to talk about office organizers.  There are all kinds of amazing office organizers you can buy to keep your desk, drawers, and paperwork organized!  There's a whole industry based on office organizers.  But, you don't have to spend a lot of money to organize your office (or whatever area of your home where you deal with paperwork, etc.).

These cheap and easy DIY organizers will help you whip your office into shape in no time.

I've already shown you several great DIY organizers for your desk using jars and cans, as well as organizers for your paperwork.  These are all very helpful for organizing your office.  Check out those links if you missed them or need a reminder!

  • If you like using binders to get organized, but don't like paying for expensive dividers (or just want prettier ones!), here's a tutorial to show you how to make your own dividers.  You can customize them any way you'd like!

Organizing Life With Less

  • If you have some pretty washi tape (organized with these DIY ideas!), you can use it to decorate binder clips and use them to organize your office.  You can colour code cords or groups of paper, or anything really!

  • Another easy DIY project you can do to get organized in your office is to use washi tape to label files, notepads, clipboards, etc.  Again you can colour-code things to keep them organized.  Or often just having them look nicer will motivate you to keep up your organizing system.  There are some great ideas in this post.
